Matina is a member of the Third Faction, and one of the rulers in the Taboo Hospital area of Limbo, where she serves as the Head Nurse. With a penchant for restraints of all kinds, she is a sadist who loves to torture her patients, regardless of whether or not they are masochists. During the first match Noach was busy treating another patient, so she had Matina hold Lucifer and Leviathan off.
Later when Leviathan tires to get some medicine for Behemoth with Lucifer until Matine intervenes, she agrees to hand over the prescription in exchange to help her develop a new therapy treatment. They decide on a blood circulation therapy using an Iron Maiden, Matine still refuses to give them the prescription so Lucifer ties her up and takes it by force.
